Proof that the “New Economy” lives and thrives in Indiana County exists in many different locations.  Starting on the campus of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the largest of the 14 state-owned universities, innovation and applied technology have become the watchwords for faculty and students alike.  

Business leaders partner with this knowledge and insights being gained at the Indiana County Corporate Campus, a new industrial park featuring a unique business incubator called the Interchange Center.  Indiana County is producing new technology to serve the U.S. armed forces, as well as innovations applied to light-industrial and other niches.
